What is the rolling shaft?

  Cold forming is a new metal forming process and technology with material saving, energy saving and high efficiency. Roll forming refers to the continuous transverse bending of coil, strip, and other metal plates through sequentially arranged multi-pass forming rollers, so as to make profiles with specific sections. Rolling shaft are  important parts of deck floor roll forming machine. At least 14 rows on the main roll forming system.

The common shaft diameter commonly is 70mm, 80mm, 90mm. We provide customization to customers, according to customer requirements to design the diameter of the roller. Although the prices of other manufacturers are low, they are all hollow shafts, which are easy to damage and affect the accuracy of products.What’s more,the shafts we use are all solid shafts.The shaft are made of 45# steel or 40Cr by sawing, quenching and tempering, lathes, cylindrical grinders and milling machines, and other process which can improved accuracy and surface smoothness for easier assembly.

There are such key grooves on the shaft and roller, which are usually used in machines with thick steel plates, such as floor decking forming machine. Because of the strong interaction between the upper and lower rollers, in order to prevent the linear speed of the shaft and rollers from being inconsistent, a key groove is added to avoid the idling of the shaft.
